The Scottish Cyber Awards are open to all individuals in the cyber industry who believe that they or someone they know is going above and beyond their day job to make a difference to the cybersecurity of Scotland.

Nominate yourself or nominate a colleague or partner who is excelling, and apply for as many as you wish.

Cybersecurity Leader of the Year 2026

Recognising an individual who has made exceptional contributions to the cybersecurity field in Scotland through leadership, expertise, or advocacy.

Cybersecurity Company of the Year 2026

Recognising the top Scottish cybersecurity company that has demonstrated outstanding performance, innovation, and financial growth. Companies entering must be more than 5 years old.

Cyber Start-up of the Year 2026

Celebrating the most promising cybersecurity start-up based in Scotland, with innovative products or services launched within the last few years. Entrants must have less than 20 employees and be less than 5 years old.

Financial Services Impact Award 2026

Recognising a cybersecurity team within the financial services sector in Scotland that has demonstrated exceptional performance in safeguarding financial assets, maintaining compliance, and defending against cyber threats through innovative solutions, rapid response, and teamwork.

Evangelist of the Year Award 2026

Recognising an individual who has demonstrated exceptional passion and dedication in promoting cybersecurity awareness, education, and best practices. This award celebrates those who actively advocate for cybersecurity, engage with the community, and inspire others through their work, whether in the public, private, or non-profit sector.

Diversity in Cyber Award 2026

Awarded to an individual, organisation, or initiative promoting diversity and inclusion within the Scottish cybersecurity industry.

Public Sector Cyber Impact Award 2026

Celebrating an outstanding cybersecurity initiative or project within Scotland's public sector, including government or educational institutions.

Cyber Innovation Award 2026

Recognising the most innovative new solution, product, or approach in cybersecurity developed in Scotland.

NEW! Cyber Culture Award 2026

The Cyber Culture Award celebrates individuals or teams who have transformed cybersecurity awareness into a shared organisational value. This category recognises leadership, creativity, and measurable impact in fostering a positive, security-conscious culture—empowering employees, promoting accountability, and embedding cyber resilience across all levels of the business through engagement, education, and collaboration.

Best Security Awareness Campaign Award 2026

Honouring the most effective campaign that has raised public or organisational awareness of cybersecurity issues.

Cyber School of the Year 2026

Recognising a Scottish school that has excelled in promoting cybersecurity education, fostering cyber skills among students, and creating awareness about the importance of cybersecurity through innovative teaching methods or extracurricular activities.

Cybersecurity Student of the Year 2026

Celebrating an outstanding Scottish student who has shown exceptional skills, passion, or contribution to the field of cybersecurity. This is open to Secondary, Further & Higher Education Students.

Cyber Resilience Award 2026

Recognising an organisation or team that has developed and executed an ongoing resilience against cyber attacks.

Special Recognition Award 2026

Chosen by the judges, this award recognises the efforts of one particular individual who has gone above and beyond in the service to the Scottish Cyber Security Community
